Why this works
Magic Design generates from a text brief plus a selected format, and it defaults to filling whatever slide count it thinks is reasonable with whatever content density fits — which is how you end up with slide 3 carrying four points and slide 6 carrying none. Explicitly capping it at "one idea per slide" and stating the exact slide count forces even pagination instead. "Use my Brand Kit colours and fonts" is not cosmetic phrasing: Magic Design only pulls a connected Brand Kit’s saved palette and type when the brief asks for it — left unstated, it falls back to its own template theme, which is the most common reason an AI-generated carousel looks off-brand on the first draft.
