1986 Doordarshan-era living room

Use my uploaded photo. Keep my face exactly as it is — same features, skin tone and age, no slimming, smoothing or beautifying — and change only my hair, clothes, pose and surroundings. Put me in an Indian middle-class drawing room in 1986, sitting on a low wooden-framed sofa with thin floral-print cushions, one arm along the backrest. Neatly combed side-parted hair, a short-sleeved printed shirt worn loose over trousers, a plain watch. Around me: a dark wood-panelled wall, a boxy cabinet television with a rounded glass screen and dial knobs on a wrought-iron stand, a lace doily under plastic flowers, a round wall clock with a plain blank face, a framed family photo hung slightly too high, and a low table with a steel water jug and two steel tumblers. The room is lived in and a little cluttered, not styled. Light it with a direct on-camera flash: hot over-lit foreground, my face flat and evenly lit, a hard compact shadow on the wall right behind my head, and the room falling into darkness at the edges. 35mm film, 1986: grain, warm tungsten cast, faded colour.
