1986 couple photo on a floral sofa

Use my uploaded photo, which has two people in it. Anchor each face to its counterpart by position — left stays left, right stays right. Do not merge, average, swap or blend the two identities, and do not make us look more alike than we are. Keep each face exactly as it is — same features, skin tone, age and natural asymmetry, no slimming, lightening or smoothing. Change only hair, clothes, jewellery, pose and surroundings. Put us in an Indian drawing room in 1986, sitting upright and close on a low wooden-framed sofa with thin foam cushions in a busy floral print, hands folded in laps or one arm along the sofa back. Mid-80s domestic hair on both, neatly combed with some crown volume, a little flattened as hair sits at home. Everyday indoor clothing — a maroon printed shirt on one, a green cotton saree on the other — comfortable rather than formal, with simple everyday jewellery, a plain watch and a bindi. Around us: a crocheted lace doily on the sofa arm, a low centre table with a steel water jug and two tumblers on a tray, a boxy cabinet television on a wrought-iron stand, a round wall clock with a plain blank face, a framed photograph hung slightly too high, and a textured distemper wall. Light it with a direct on-camera flash fired from a few feet away by a family member: hot over-lit foreground, both faces flat and evenly lit with no modelling, a separate hard compact shadow on the wall immediately behind each of our heads, and the room falling into darkness at the edges. 35mm film indoors with flash, 1986: grain, warm-yellow tungsten cast mixing with the flash, faded colour, lifted blacks. No flat-screen, no remote, no phone, no modern branding. Horizontal 4:3, knees up.
